Terms & Conditions

1. Acceptance

By creating an account or using StayInSync, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

2. The service

StayInSync connects to your email inboxes, uses AI to extract what matters, and delivers a daily digest to your WhatsApp number. Delivery times and format may change as we improve the product.

3. Your account

You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure and for any activity under your account. You must provide accurate information.

3A. Gmail Integration

By connecting your Gmail account, you authorise StayInSync to read your Gmail messages (read-only access, gmail.readonly scope) to generate your daily digest.

Access is strictly read-only: StayInSync can never send, delete, label or modify any email in your account. Data read is used solely to generate your daily school communication digest, and never to train AI models.

You may disconnect your Gmail inbox at any time from Settings → Inboxes. Disconnecting immediately revokes all access and deletes your stored OAuth credentials from our system.

4. Acceptable use

  • Do not use the service for unlawful, abusive, or harmful purposes.
  • Do not connect inboxes you are not authorised to access.
  • Do not attempt to reverse-engineer or disrupt the service.

5. Subscriptions & billing

Paid plans renew automatically until cancelled. You may cancel at any time from your billing settings; access continues until the end of the paid period. Fees already paid are non-refundable except where required by law.

6. AI-generated content

Digests are produced by AI from your emails. While we strive for accuracy, summaries may contain errors. Always check the original email for critical actions, deadlines, or amounts.

7. Termination

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms. You may delete your account at any time.

8. Liability

The service is provided "as is". To the maximum extent permitted by law, StayInSync is not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from your use of the service.

9. Changes

We may update these Terms. We will notify you of material changes via email or in-app notice.
