1. Acceptance

By creating an account or using StayInSync, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

2. The service

StayInSync reads school emails from the inbox you connect (Gmail, read-only) or, as a fallback, from emails you forward to a private StayInSync address. We use AI to extract what matters, and we deliver a digest to your WhatsApp number on your plan's schedule. On Stay Ahead you can also upload school documents and ask the AI Advisor questions, including by voice (voice is processed by Sarvam AI and never stored). Delivery times and format may change as we improve the product.

3. Your account

You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure and for any activity under your account. You must provide accurate information.

3A. Connecting your inbox, or forwarding

Connecting your inbox is recommended. StayInSync has completed Google's CASA security assessment ✅. By connecting your Gmail account you authorise StayInSync to read your Gmail messages with read-only access to generate your digest. We can never send, delete, label or modify email. You may disconnect at any time from Settings → Inboxes, which immediately ends access and deletes the stored access token. Outlook, Hotmail, Yahoo and other providers are coming soon.

If you can't connect, StayInSync issues you a private forwarding address. By forwarding an email to it — manually or with an auto-forward rule you create in your own mailbox — you authorise StayInSync to process that email to generate your daily digest.

Forwarding is the fallback. With forwarding, StayInSync holds no mailbox credentials or access tokens. We can never send, delete, label or modify any email in your account, and we can only see the emails you choose to forward. That data is used solely to generate your digest, and never to train AI models.

You may stop this at any time: remove your auto-forward rule in your mailbox, or delete your forwarding address from Settings → Inboxes. Deleting the address means any further email sent to it is rejected.

4. Acceptable use

• Do not use the service for unlawful, abusive, or harmful purposes.
• Do not forward email from inboxes you are not authorised to access.
• Do not attempt to reverse-engineer or disrupt the service.

5. Subscriptions & billing

Plans: Stay Informed ₹99/month (weekly digest), Stay Organised ₹349/month (daily morning digest) and Stay Ahead ₹549/month (morning and evening digests, AI Advisor and voice). Yearly plans cost 10× the monthly price. Stay Ahead add-ons: extra family member ₹49/month, extra child ₹99/month. Prices include applicable taxes unless stated otherwise at checkout.

New accounts get a 30-day free trial of Stay Ahead. No card is needed to start. If you do not choose a plan when the trial ends, digests pause and your data is kept.

Paid plans renew automatically until cancelled. You may cancel at any time from your billing settings; access continues until the end of the paid period. Fees already paid are non-refundable except where required by law. See our Cancellation & Refund Policy for details.

6. AI-generated content

Digests are produced by AI from your emails. While we strive for accuracy, summaries may contain errors. Always check the original email for critical actions, deadlines, or amounts.

7. Termination

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms. You may delete your account at any time.

8. Liability

The service is provided "as is". To the maximum extent permitted by law, StayInSync is not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from your use of the service.

9. Changes

We may update these Terms. We will notify you of material changes via email or in-app notice.
